Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Overview

The Design Guild Awards operates a strict no-refund policy for all submission fees and award confirmation fees. Please read this policy carefully before making any payment. By completing a payment, you acknowledge and agree to the terms stated herein.

2. Entry Submission Fee

The entry submission fee (₹5,899 inclusive of all taxes) is non-refundable once payment is completed and your submission is received. This fee covers:

  • Processing and evaluation of your design entry by our jury panel
  • Administrative and operational costs of running the awards programme
  • Inclusion in the awards archive for the current season

3. Award Confirmation Fee

The award confirmation fee (₹10,000 + 18% GST = ₹11,800) charged to shortlisted and winning entries is non-refundable once payment is completed. This fee covers:

  • Physical trophy manufacturing and dispatch
  • Printed Certificate of Excellence
  • Official winner feature on The Design Guild Awards website
  • Winner accreditation listing and archive recognition

4. Cancellation Policy

Once a submission has been received and payment processed, it cannot be cancelled or withdrawn. If you wish to update or amend your submission details prior to the jury review phase, contact us at connect@thedesignguildawards.com. Amendments are subject to our discretion and the awards timeline.

5. Duplicate or Erroneous Payments

If you have been charged more than once for the same submission due to a technical error, or if an incorrect amount was charged, please contact us immediately at connect@thedesignguildawards.com with your payment reference number. Duplicate or erroneous charges will be investigated and refunded within 7–10 business days upon verification.

6. Failed Payments

If a payment fails mid-transaction and your account is debited, the amount will be automatically reversed by your bank or Razorpay within 5–7 business days. If the reversal does not occur within this period, contact us with your transaction ID and we will assist with the investigation.

7. Payment Processing

All payments are securely processed through Razorpay. The Design Guild Awards does not store any card, UPI, or banking credentials. For payment-related disputes not related to our fee policy, you may also contact Razorpay support directly.

8. Governing Law

This policy is governed by and construed in accordance with applicable Indian laws. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
